we are to love one another

in 1John 4:11 Dear friends ,since God so loved us,we also ought to love one another.

a book I read a chapter or 2 , the book was titled "They Love Jesus but not the Church".

The bride of Christ doesn't always act as the bride should,to love one another we ought to look past our imperfections and love one another despite our differences ,imperfectness,and the let downs.Jesus loved he did not choose those whole were blameless and the perfect,if you remember the man who asked Rabi what must I do to inherit Eternal life ,what good deed must I do read the following from Matthew 19:16-23 (New American Standard Bible)

The Rich Young Ruler
16(A)And someone came to Him and said, "Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain (B)eternal life?"

17And He said to him, "Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but (C)if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."

18Then he said to Him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "(D)YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER; YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY; YOU SHALL NOT STEAL; YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS;

19(E)HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER; and (F)YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."

20The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?"

21Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and (G)sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have (H)treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

22But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.

23And Jesus said to His disciples, "Truly I say to you, (I)it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

we read in 1 John 4:11 that we ought to love one another be cause God so loved us

part in showing our love is doing whatever it takes to meet a need ,in John 3:16 we read that God so loved the world that he gave,he gave us his son created in his image God came in human form to be a living sacrifice.

to be continue....writing in progress
